@ TheBlindDeafMute wow I have never hear anyone complain about Corsair RAM, you are the first ever.

I'd mail CS and talk to them, I imagine they would be nice guys about it and help you.

The best company I think I've used for reliability, is in my rig.. Zalman. not once have I had a Zalman problem. not once.

what's everyone's best Companies and why?

I bought this HP laptop back when I didn't know anything about laptops. Dual-core Turion (the first dual-core Turion) and nVidia 6150...
...oh my God...and it was $1200. Note that this was back in 2006.
It was awful. I was playing Quake II. Not a bad game, just not what I was expecting, not knowing how terrible the 6150 was.

In fact, that Christmas, when I came home to grab my desktop, I gave it to my mom! Merry Christmas mom, take this junk off of me please. Never want to see it again. $1200 down the tubes.

----
8500GT! For my Dad's computer! Shoulda just left it at integrated; that thing is garbage. Not problematic or anything, just slow/waste of money. It is in a certain market segment that SERVES NO PURPOSE AT ALL. Shouldn't even exist.

A Gigabyte GTS 450.
Now that I have the Sapphire Radeon 5850 in here instead of the 450, my system is so much quieter T-T

The RG700 should have more than enough power for a Phenom II x4 and two HD 6850s.  I believe the problem would have been somewhere else.  What is your motherboard?

Antec 900.

For my first ever computer build. Terrible cable mang. Couldn't hide any of the cables.

And other things I wasted money on, but never used them. Just sitting in the box, collecting dust.

My OCZ Agility 3. Rather impossible to test a 24-hour stable OC if your SSD won't stay responsive for 24 hours straight.

RAIDMAX 730SS 730W Hybrid Modular PSU

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817152036

...from the first revision of my current rig. Sure it glows blue and all, and I like that, but it was too damn underpowered and couldn't handle stress. My computer would often randomly power off and restart in the middle of Counter Strike: Source and Battlefield 2. Good thing I bought that Corsair 750HX PSU on impulse. The problem has never happened after the swap.

And this PSU has a sticker that says "TECHNOLOTY". Definitely has good quality control.

---

On the same build, my first case. Rosewill R220. Installing my GPU caused the case to bend a bit:

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v603/RaRiZaRd/Xynapse/8.jpg

---

Oh, and I bought a slim Scythe fan. 2000 RPM, half as thick as your regular 120mm case fan.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v603/RaRiZaRd/Xynapse/84.jpg

Pretty self-explanatory.

---

And if I REALLY had to push it for this thread, I can say that my Intel Core i7 920 is pretty bad. Sure it overclocked nicely to 3.7 GHz at 1.20V but because it's a C0 stepping chip, it can't handle the heat. I still use the same chip to this day, unable to hit 4 GHz on air like some of those "SLBEJ" D0 stepping chips.
