Anyone with Asus top of the line boards that get the FF, example X79, Rampage Extreme, it's a corrupt Bios even though they have 2(BIOS) on the boards. You need a formatted USB, then follow the bios back up built into there top end boards. WAHLA
If it's bad enough to be throwing an FF error code, odds are you won't be able to flash that BIOS.

Monitor plugged in? Is there a power cable to the GPU (assuming it's a dedicated card)? Also, just try a different GPU. No video without a POST code or beeps is usually your graphics card.

Hi guys
First, excuse me for my bad English
Second, on issue. I have one old computer here, which is worked about 2 hours ago. He has some problems with memory sticks, I observed. There is two memory sticks, 256MB and 512MB. As I said, computer is old, running with Windows XP. Computer runs normally, but not want to load Windows, just crash and restart and again and again. I removed one memory stick(512MB) and computer run and boot normally, everything is fine, but 256MB are less even Windows XP. So I tried to "lie" the motherboard and changing the memory stick places. Again computer refuse to run with combination 256 plus 512MB. Then I add other memory stick, which I have, 256MB and total was 512 MB. Power up, computer run, windows also, but on Welcome screen, crash. This happened twice. I decided, that these 256MB second memory stick not work corectlly and I have to remove it. So, power down the computer, remove the stick and Voila, computer doesn't boot. Only fans spin and LED lights on the front panel. No beep, no sounds, not boot. Just spin up and LED light, POWER and HDD LEDS flashing. Same, like in first post in this tread. But I'm not give up easy. I have one tester here, PC Analyzer, which I put in one empty PCI slot in a computer. When I power up the computer, the card shows me FF code. Nice. Then I tried to disconnect all peripheral devices and left only CPU and PSU, with no RAM installed. There is beep on the board installed, but there is not any beeps. Next I measured voltage values on PSU, all is OK. Also I removed CPU cooler and CPU, then return CPU back, again not boot. I looked carefully every capacitor on the board, no smell, no blown capacitor head, nothing suspicious. Well, my conclusion is, this board is dead. Am I right?

best bet, board is fried. I think it is time for an upgrade, this system has probably served well

If you don't own the board, probably shouldn't give advise. It's an easy fix, Its people like you that think the sky is falling. Over clocking the X79 to Extreme's will often produce the FF code, I know I've done it and recovered(why I give advise).
