What are the best earbuds under $100?

Does anyone know if these are good?

Check this out. It's a list/short review of many different IEM's at different price points.

Nothing even comes close to the Meelectronics A151 under $100. At $40 currently on Amazon it is an absolute steal. People compare the earbuds to earbuds over $100. I personally own them and I will be using them for a long, long time.

CC51s I think are their better ones...based on the 140+ IEM reviewer?

I have them both actually. You might think that they sound similar based on reviews but they don't. Each has it's own sound properties that produce a different sound. I have found the cc51 to be better for rap, dubstep, electronic, and generic American radio station music. The CC51 has more clarity to the bass and it is slightly punchier. The midrange and treble on the A151 is slightly more clear than on the CC51 and for this reason I t is better suited for rock, metal, etc. Don't get me wrong, it still sounds absolutely fantastic for electronic music.

There are two things I really dislike about the CC51 though: The cable is horrible compared to the A151, and the actual IEM housing's angle is too large so if you are wearing a jacket ith a hood you constantly need to adjust the IEM or else soundstage will become really messed up.

Sorry for typos, it is my first day typing on an iPad.

Depends, do you often wear a hood, beanie, or cap? If you do I would definitely not get the CC51's. I would still get the A151's over the CC51 though simply because of their outstanding cable. Sure, you might have very slightly lower bass response but it is totally worth it when you consider the quality of the cable.

The obtuse angle of the CC51 housing completely kills the IEM. It's still a great IEM but I find myself having to adjust them every 7-10 minutes because the IEM does not have a proper center of gravity. I would go for the A151.

I think what contributes to the difference in sound signatures between the A151 and the CC51 would be the fact that the A151 is a single balanced armature vs the CC51's dynamic. A single BA just doesn't have the extension or impact for reproducing the full range and that's really why the CC51 wins in many of the other genres.
