What do I need?

Thread Starter
I'm getting an i7-3930k with the Rampage IV extreme soon. I'll also be getting a Radeon HD 7000 series GPU when it comes.
And if possible, I want it all to be water cooled.

But.. I have no idea what I need to get. And what would be good.
My budget is around $350, but I'll spend up to $500 if there is a big perfomance increase with the price.

So if anyone got some advice to what I should get, bring it on!

Edit: The case I have is Cooler Master Haf X. (If that matters)

Well it depends do you want a pre made sealed loop you can get something like the hydro 100 but if you want a custom one you'll need quite a few parts such as a radiator, pump waterlines and the reservoir.

I think the haf x can handle a 360 rad tops.

Edit: forgot to mention youll also need the blocks for the cpu/gpu

First of all you need to do some reading: http://www.overclock.net/t/226970/updated-water-cooling-essential-threads

Then, you start thinking about what parts you want to watercool, and how "high-end" parts you want. Let me just say that I don't think $350 is enough for a decent cpu+gpu loop. Let me ask you a few questions:
How much overclocking will you do, and do you want to wc only cpu+gpu or maybe mobo and ram too?

For basic cpu+gpu loop you'll need a pump, blocks for gpu and gpu, hose, fittings, coolant, reservoir and enough radiator. I'd say at least 120 worth of rad per block plus one 120 extra (which means 120.3 worth of rad in cpu+gpu loop) for decent temperatures. Of course you'll be needing fans and a killcoil/nuke too.

But yeah, check the water cooling essentials thread out first smile.gif It'll make things a lot clearer.

Btw I see you're in Norway. First of all, Hello Neighbour biggrin.gif And you could check out Aquatuning.de or Aquatuning.fi, that's what I use. Very nice service and decent selection of wc gear.
