doesnt anyone in ocn work for amd. just pm one of us here and give us a hint
And if u get pm'd be sure to send one this way to the one who posted the thread :-) I'm just really confused. People do not seem to care and it doesn't seem that big of a deal. Maybe I'm too interested but its just strange that 2 sites would list 4 specific cpu's and have all of that info on them and list them under the compatability list for their motherboards. There is no way it is JUST a typo. Granted I have no idea what it is, its not a typo

Why don't you send an e-mail to Elitegroup and Jetway?

Wow thank u for this Finally a logical explanation. Really does make sense and is very unfortunate. Shoulda coulda woulda right? Well whatever happened happened and let's just hope what is going to happen, happen quickly and efficiently. Thanks again for giving a well thought out response

Example:
Model 3020: ZD302051W8K44 from ECS
Z = Zambezi
D = Desktop
28 = Similar to Opteron code, 2 way 8 core processor (this one is way off)
20 = Frequency Identifier, i'm guessing this means either 3.2GHz, 2.8GHz or 2.4GHz
51 = Power envelope/features maybe? or "roadmap" as posted on bsn
W = AM3+ Package
8 = 8 core processor
K = Cache size (as per the link above)
44= B0 sample
The rest of the numbers seem to line up perfectly with the CPU specs.
Is ECS just throwing numbers out there? There must be something to this I would think.

That old post was a guess yes so I didn't expect it to be entirely accurate. But just starting with "ZD" screams Zambezi. I think they are just BD ES listings TBH

A Phenom II X8 would be nice though. But I really hope they refine BD enough to make piledriver a great processor.
