Cannot overclock, memory error at boot

Hi all. I am have some trouble getting my 1055t to overclock and after some research it is now pointing to a ram issue. I used to be able to overclock my cpu to 3.3GHz but now using the exact same settings after flashing bios, I cannot get it to boot no matter what i do unless it stays on stock settings. The ram that I have is Kingston HyperX 2x2GB and 2x4GB both 1600MHz, it was going fine until I rebuilt it in a new case with water cooling but I have no idea what's going on. I get 1 long beep and 1 short usually if I touch any settings like FSB or Voltages.

The 8GB kit is 1 month old but the 4GB kit is 1 year old, and I just tried without the 4GB and I still got the same result.

When you overclock it have you set the RAM multi one or more steps lower ?
If you havent you might have clocked them to high.

First i would set RAM to about 1333mhz and try stay close to that while overclocking.

You could also try upping cpu-nb voltage a bit to like like 1.3V

Yes I know to keep the multi down and as I said if I change any voltage setting I get a system voltage not optimized message and does not pass post with a memory/mobo error according to the manual. Even if I undervolt.

I am back with good news! It seems I have fixed the memory issue. I went into the dram settings and I noticed something that I have not come across in all the reading I have done. Now I knew the timings were always correct which is why it baffled me so much. I found options "Trfc0 for DIMM1" and so on. Dimm 1 and 2 were set to 110ns and Dimm 3 and 4 set to 160ns. I went ahead and set Dimm 1 and 2 to 160ns to match... low and behold I could set a manual base clock and change the voltages passsing post and booting into Windows. I have the full 12GB in btw.

The settings are just to test atm:
14x230mhz=3.2GHz
NB:2070
HT:2070
Ram Freq: 766
Ram timings: 9-9-9-24-1

Vcore:1.35v
NB: 1.3v
Dram:1.65v

All idling nicely at 25c right now

Heightening the tRFC can improve stability with an extremely minimal decrease in performance. That should have done it!
