Looking to buy a new keyboard

Thread Starter
hi everyone, new to the forums here. Im looking to buy a new keyboard (mostly for gaming). Currently using the razer blackwidow, but planing on getting a new keyboard and taking this one to work. Any advice on what I should get? I'v been looking at the das keyboars and like what I see so far. Is it to much to pay for a das? are you paying for the name? or is there a better brand deals out there?

Have a look at the Corsair Vengeance K60 or K90 wink.gif
I have the K60, and it's awesome thumb.gif

(Yeah, it's a mechanical keyboard)

"After quite a bit of experimentation, we decided to use Cherry MX Red switches for all for all of the action and typing keys, and incorporate a row of tuned silicone-dome key switches for just the top row (the Esc and F-keys), plus the nine keys in the center block (PrtScn, Scroll Lock, Pause/Break, Insert, Delete, Home, End, Page Up, and Page Down)."

yea the das is awesome. I have one myself. you are not overpaying for the name imo. i got a student discount with mine which gave me 30$ off and free shipping. Total was 100$ after everything was said and done. even if i didnt get the discount though it still would have been worth it. i dont consider it overpaying at all because they are a great company and make great products. i couldnt be happier with mine. filcos are much more expensive in most cases. The das has amazing build quality and is very clean. i just put new keycaps on mine today that look awesome (imo.) keycaps are from wasdkeyboards.com whom i would also highly recommend.
