Which cooler to get for $100?

Hello! I'm looking for a decent cooler so I can overclock my Phenom II 960T to 4 Ghz, while remaining relatively cool. I was looking at the CM Hyper 212+ Plus, but I feel like I can get something better. I've seen the Phanteks PH-TC14PE, but I have no idea if it will fit in my HAF 912. The third cooler I was looking at was the Corsair H80, because I think the H100 won't mount correctly in my case. But then again, I'm wary of the H80 because I've read about bad pumps. I've also heard that the stock fans on the H80 are loud, but those can be replaced. I'm not sure of which one to get. I don't know of any other ones that are good, so any suggestions are welcome! Thanks.

I had the Cooler master Hyper 212+ before, and I got my X4 955 to 4.2Ghz without any problems. Just have a push/pull set up, and that would probably get you below 55c, depending on your ambient temp.

Get the 212 and replace the fans with ap15's. Or get the nh d14 or silver arrow, both are ~$80 ish.

Phanteks is roughly the same dimensions as the Noctua D14

Noctua d14 in a 912 advanced:

Noctua d13 in normal 912:

912 is a fairly wide mid tower, it was basically built to house huge heatsinks, it'll fit.

I would not recommend the H80. My friend has his 2500k and h80 at the same voltage and frequency as me but his chip runs hotter than mine. I have a hyper 212+.

I would go with the Noctua NH-D14.

The noctua seems to be the consensus. EDIT: Bought it.
