Water cooling M8

Thread Starter
Im looking at getting a M8 when i finish my deployment. my question is how do i mount a 360 rad on the right side using the empty space over there? should i get 3 flexmounts to put over there and then mount my rad to it or is there a better way to do that? no rush on ideas or solutions ive got a couple more months of planing before i get to sit down back home and go to work on my new build.

You can use the 360 side mount (MAC-122) in the upper PSU bay. If you're referring to the HDD mounts at the front of the case (where the large holes are) the hole spacing is too big for a radiator. To mount one there would require modifications.

Best regards

Although the right side of the M8 is not designed for a rad I managed to mount a 360 rad on the right side of my M8 without modification:

The rad is mounted through the center case fan using a shroud as a spacer.

You could always buy the "360 Radiator Flex-Bay Mount" and have it on the mobo side.

It's really that simple as using the flex mounts on the right side? I mean if so I'll just but that so it has a smooth look

I think it only works on the motherboard side with the flex mounts. Basically it won't work like how Extreme Newbie did his.
