What do you think about the new XFX PSU? - Page 2

well I am going to be building a whole new system next year sometime so I was just looking around. I am going to try and get supper efficient stuff for my next build so I defiantly want a platinum PSU. Also I will be getting the AMD 7xxx Series GPU and I was reading something that said the 7950 or 7970 will take 300W at peak power and I will probably get two of those so I am thinking that the 1000 watt will be fine. not sure though as I don't have all my components figured out.

Really, you can't go wrong.

Because my computer is different from the OP and requires more power than him. The psu I got is a very good 1200w as well. Plus if both are similar in terms of quality, then what's the real different than the actual tangibles like cable arrangements and power avail? I needed 1050w. It was either get an xfx 1050w that's good for 3 card configs, or spend 10 dollars more and get the antec 1200w that's good for 4 cards and other configs. Kind of a no brainier. I was just merely saying to the OP that though XFX 1kw is great, if something is better that cost similar, it makes more sense getting the better one.
