Okay, I tested this after DarkRyder gave me a heads up... works great on Milkyway, Albert@Home, Collatz, and Moo! Wrapper...

DarkRyder tested it on 3 machines and bal2wolf tested on several as well as my one HD6990 box.

No more having to free up 2 cores to run Moo! or Albert!!

Does this include the 8.93 display driver, or is it still 8.92?

Interesting. Roughly how much CPU is freed up?

I was having issues with BF3 since the most recent patch. I wonder if this might help out...

It used to take 2 free cores to run the GPU's crunching BOINC... now it uses so little CPU's that I don't have to free up the 2 cores....

Have no idea how games may be affected...

The link Tex provided states that gamers should use the new driver. My CPU usage for my video cards has dropped. I am running another WCG thread and the video cards didn't even notice.

i have seen an issue with boincing moowrapper with these new drivers, i'm getting tons of pending workunits as well as work workunits failing and getting no credit for them.

funny thing is, i uninstalled the 12.1 driver. and installed the 11.12, and the cpu usage is still at .05. nice!
