New to overclock.net

Thread Starter
Hello,

Im new, at overclocking. i do have good general pc knowlege, and have built my own system's for years... but this time i decited to take one machine i built and overclock it for preformance.

the machine specs i listed is the machine i want help with.

i know, you can overclock CPU, GPU, and Memory. So what im asking here is,

how can i overclock a 3.0 GHZ with hyper threading CPU, and still run it stable?

how can i overclock my corsair dual channel 4.0 GB of DDR 3200 Ram?
(how can i get it to display 4.0 GB of ram in windows XP insted of just 3.0 GB?)
if you can help with that too

how can i overclock my ATI Radeon X1600 Pro AGP 512MB Graphics GPU/Memory?

is there anything i missed?

any sources of information, programs or web links will help!

Thank you!

Okay,
ive gone over and read through the Intel guide for overclocking, but it dosent mention anything about Hyper Threading in there..... should i ajust any concerns about increasing my FSB and MHz?

since im useing an ATI Branded Card, should i go with a dual support ATI/Nvidia program or an ATI only?

memory....
any articals spacificly detailing how to over clock dual channel chips? is the graphics card memory covered in the GPU overclocking?

and, with my other sub question... my bio's recongnizes 4 GB of (2 2x1GB kits) Dual channel ram DDR PC3200 1.5v 3C. windows xp only see's 3 GB of it... how can i get windows to see, and utalize all 4 GB?
as i understand it... AMD x64 bit and windows 64 bit have something to do with seeing 4 GB... but im running a 32 bit system. any help on that?

I'd suggest creating a thread in the Intel CPU's section, a lot more people will see it there and you'll probably get some better help. I'm not an Intel expert myself, so I can't really answer your question....
