Gigabyte H55N-USB3 in mine,
i7-870 @ 3.5 GHZ using a 500W psu upgrade,
I also drilled and cut the HDD cage to allow room for an ATI 5870 as you do !
Scythe Shuriken cooler for the cpu.
3 x 1 TB WD caviar black HDD's ( they used to be a sensible price... )

Beautiful case, and it wouldn't be impossible to cut a slot in the alloy for a slimline optical drive if you get creative ?

no need for optical drive.

here is what i ended up doing:

Proc: i3
RAM: 8gb
Video Card: HD 6670
Mobo: Zotac H67-itx
Drives:
SSD for OS
four 2tb for storage
