Because no games except x-plane support HT it will not give u a extra boost.

X-plane 10 actually gives u a boost since it actually sees 4 cores 8 threads

If you're looking to upgrade, an i5 2500k actually gets slightly better FPS than a 2600k. Or in Iv's case, a 3570k. thumb.gif
