Been running custom blend since 9am this morning at the office, 4.8Ghz @ 1.4v, still going strong. Hottest core is 76C. My PLL voltage is 1.725. What do you recommend?

Run one @ 4.7 w/ 1.4 and bench it @ 5.2 w/ 1.5... for the passed few months now... no issues. on water though so temps stay lower then 65.

the other I run @ 5.0 w/ 1.5 and have never touched it

No one knows. Every chip is different. Try to keep it below 70C. My old 2600K hated temps over 70C.

Is 1.725v the lowest stable voltage you can run? What happens if you put it down to 1.7v?

Haven't tested for more than 4 hours with it at 1.7 and 4.8 like I did with it at 1.725. I can try 1.7 no problem. Odd that factory is 1.80, I did have it at 1.90 and made no difference, and everyone (including guides) are recommending 1.7. I still think I have an issue with my waterblock not seating correctly, this radiator never even gets warm to the touch and the air coming through it isn't, or even remotely warm. I'd really like to see this thing in the 60's on all cores at 1.4v.

What's the thermal paste everyone is using/recommending these days? I'm using the crap that came with my Noctua D14 on my W3520. Have multiple large AS5 deals too but hear that's not what everyone is using anymore.

Your temps are fine. Remember, its the individual CORES that are that hot. There's probably a good 8-10z worth of water that's disappating that heat. The water itself, radiator and fins aren't going to get hot.

I'm currently stress testing mine at 4.95GHz, 1.52v. I won't pass 1.52-1.53v or so full load. That's my personal limit, as I'd like for my chip to last a while.

The dude that ran 1.45v...you didn't see degrading. What you saw was burn in, there's a difference. Everybody that I talk to personally that has one of these HAS noticed a very very slight degrade after a while of use. Low volts or high volts, it doesn't matter (higher just makes it happen faster). Once that happens though, its done and won't happen again on that chip. This is why I call it a burn in, not a degrade.
