Two thoughts came to mind. Keep the mouse as close to the receiver as possible and..Buy a new mouse? That is by no means a gaming-grade mouse and for you to be experiencing issues in a game like SCII comes as no surprise to me.

You really want a wired mouse for gaming even with how long they've been out. If you have the cash to drop I would highly recommend the Naga Epic. Not only is the Naga an amazing MMO/RTS mouse (being able to select your hotkeyed groups on the mouse is pretty handy) but the Epic edition can be wired or wireless if you still want to retain the wireless for things like browsing netflix from bed or doing stuff on your TV out in the living room hooked up to your computer.

wireless cause latency naturally. signal has to travel, they it has to be encoded decoded all kinda stuffs.
also some games have some lag reducing fuction. bf3 recently implemented it.
there's also that cpu render ahead thing in the nvidia control panel, but that's another whole big can of worms.

You must have some serious skill if mouse lag is holding back your true potential lol

How bads the lag? I have a wireless mouse for my laptop sometimes after leaving it idle for a few mintues it takes less that a second to jump back but thats usually it.

btw you could have edited your post opposed to quoting yourself and continueing on the topic thumb.gif lol

the lag is pretty bad it will jump arround for a few seconds and might do it every couple minutes always worse if someone else is laggin im not the best at sc2 but it make ya mad when im tryin to move units over here and i end up grabbin one unit and movin it way the other direction likes to get me killed gotta be pretty precise and time stuff just right and a laggy mouse prevents that and like i said the reduce lag option in game dont do nothing just a joke....
