Nex-5N or t3i? - Page 2

Not at all. The NEX has an APS-C sensor just like the T3I. Micro 4/3 cameras have a smaller sensor.

No, because like I said, Sony lenses are not good at all. Although they may have the same sensor, there will be a noticeable difference in image quality

So Sony does make good lenses and the quality of images from a nex 5n will be the same as a t3i?

Yeah, I've tried the 135 -- it's good. Not quite 135L good, but definitely better than the Nikon offering. I would buy it if I was into the Sony system.

My bad, I was talking about the kit lens, since the OP said he does not want to buy any additional lenses. The Zeiss ones are very good, but the kit lens on the G series is actually fairly decent compared to the kit lens on the NEX series

That actually makes much more sense. I thought (as probably did everyone else) you were making a blanket statement towards all Sony lenses.
