H70 Fan replacement

Thread Starter
Hello, i want to get lower temp on my 2600k, i saw some guys running delta fans on their h70, yes they are crazy loud but their temp is awesome! the only problem is that their running at 42.99+9.99 shipping at newegg.ca Since noise is not an issue ( i have a fan controller at 30w per channel) could you suggest me some fans? Oh and also the website that carry them must ship to canada thumb.gif

also could you tell me if those fans are good ? http://ncix.com/products/?sku=26744&vpn=DFS123812H-3000&manufacture=Scythe

Thanks alot wink.gif

I bought 4 of the medium speed Yate Loons. for $22 total

http://ftwpc.com/cooling/fans.html

Dropped my temps 2-3C under load after changing from the stock corsairs. The Loons are 100% more quiet, BARELY audible.

If you wanted a bit more performance, get the high speed Loons. Slightly audible, but moves more much more air.

I haven't looked back, and the price for performance is off the charts.

I've got 2 medium speed Yate's in push/pull + shrouds with my H50 and I never go over 60* while gaming (with a bad vcore of 1.35). If you want the very best performance get the Typhoon's, if you want to save some cash and sacrifice a degree or two get the Yates.

And those arent good at all? http://ncix.com/products/?sku=26744&vpn=DFS123812H-3000&manufacture=Scythe there cheap as hell to ship me, unlike newegg... I heard high static pressure is good to penetrate the fins better... But after the air went through the rad is it better to put a high cfm fan or put another of the same kind?

If you had two of those in push/pull two things would happen:

1. Your temps would plummet.
2. Your neighbors would file a noise complaint smile.gif

but in all seriousness, those would be amazing, if you can stand the noise.

I used to have two High Speed Yate Loons on my H70. Lowered temps around 4-5c compared to the stock fans and weren't exactly noisy, especially with my fan controller.
