Hey tank, how do you set the CPU affinity in Linux? I want it to run on cores 2&3 instead of 0&1, as the first two tend to run hotter than the others.

Go to task manager and rightclick on the vmware.exe then click on Affinity and set to 2&3. That should do the trick.

Task manager...Ctrl-Alt-Del still work in Linux, just a hope.

Not installed yet, 82% downloaded...

Yes, but it doesnt matter. Just have VmWare running with Suse and folding, then Ctrl-Alt-delete and click on vmware.exe and set affinity. You will get a popup saying something about using Ctrl-Alt-Insert when running with vmware but ignore it.

Glad you got it working mega. Now once you hit stanfords top 1000 list, your points will be added to the team.
