as for the voltages,

the motherboard ir sets the voltage afther the needs, for example i can select 2 types of how the proccesor is running, on throtle or on video ram ratio

i run on option 2 which of course gives errors on cpu throthle tests, but if i change to throttle my cpu temps go up 5C , which is not realy good due to my high temps allready

to be fair i dont even know which are my real temps as abit use their own temperature sensors, and they dont work with everest it TAT , so basicaly i need to trust the guru readings

and yes that 3.7 on stock speeds, but only because i was useing like 2% of cpu, at 100% it can go up to 1.6 v and beyond to 1.9

i did run orthos , and prime , but both give errors, trying to figure out where is the problem, and i am still waiting for bios fixes, abit released the board but the bios are still in early stages

Can't you part it out a bit?

Like... sell the most expensive parts (E6700, X1950XTX, the Dominators, the Sound Card). With some luck that'll give you enough that you have your $1,000 and get a E6300, 1GB cheap RAM, and a 7600GS or so.

Hmm... you'll be a bit shy of that, but not too far off..

I think you should be asking WAY more. New its worth ~

6700 - 500 bucks
RAM - 350?
MOBO - 250
GPU - 500
PSU - 200

Thats 1800 there new...without all the rest. You could go as high as 2k imo

He's taking british £

I overlooked that also. Parting out the parts I suggested only will not get him £1,000

At overclockers.co.uk, the CPU/RAM/Video/Sound combined wouild cost £1,131.47 new

You use a rollerball mouse? Yuck

I love that mobo, though. Looks sick, and it'd look even better in my rig
