I have the same issue when using Eyefinity, from what I've learned it has something to do with using DVI and DP. On my setup up the tearing happens on the monitor that's running off my display port and everything is fine on the two monitors running off DVI. The only fix I've found is to either run all the monitors from DP or all the monitors from DVI, also the tearing only happens when you have one large resolution but if you have the monitors set up as three different screens there's no tearing to be found.

its my two outside monitors that do it and one is run off display port to hdmi, and the other is the dvi port, and the one in the middle which uses display port to dvi works perfect, like im so pissed right now that i even bother with this setup, doesnt even work properly

I'm a triple monitor hater as well, and i had 3d Surround (going to sell off two of my monitors soon). The FOV in games is what ticks me off. As for your issue it, that tends to happen when the refresh rates/response times/ etc are not identical across all three monitors.
Check the settings on the three monitors.

according to this thread: http://hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=1576329
it seems when you use different connections screen tearing happens, but when all three monitors use the same connection the tearing goes away, im going to buy 2 more active dp to dvi adapters, so all three are the same, thank god i have the 6990 with 4 dp ports on it, if you card doesnt have three exact matching ports your sol from what ive read.

whats "fov" ?

FOV, is field of view. In games i don't particularly like that the left and right monitors have a bit of a stretched appearance to create a fisheye effect. It happens because of the odd aspect ratio. So instead of looking like one extremely large monitor with bezels in-between, the center monitor looks proper and the left and right flanking monitors have the stretching. It drive me crazy when i stare at it, and i know you are not supposed to look at it since it is miming peripheral vision. But i just cant help but notice.

As far as FOV goes doing a portrait Eyefinity helps - with 3x1 portrait you are basically running rather large 16:10 display and with 5x1 portrait there is small distortions but not as bad as with three 16:9 displays in landscape.

For screen tearing - this happens in my experience when one of the GPU's in crossfire configuration downclocks bcos it thinks it's somewhat idle. So the GPU's end up with different frequencies. In my case I just created custom profile making all my GPU's run at max frequency all the time regardless of the cards load.
