How can I fit 2 Power Supplies into a FullTower Case? (CM Cosmos S)

Thread Starter
Currently undergoing an upgrade, but want to save a few bucks from buying a new power supply.

Ive read that one can add an extra PSU to power Graphics + System separately.

However I don't know where to place two of these brigs into one case, can someone enlighten me a bit? biggrin.gif

Was thinking if I should go for an Auxilarry PSU (FPS Group x5 450w) 5.25" Bay PSU for Graphics.

System Specs:

Intel i5 (plan to go ~5GHz)
470 GTX SLi (on water for extreme overclocking)

1 x Pump
10x 120mm fans for my radiators & etc.
3x HDD's
1x Optical
1x Fan Controller

Some cases can hold 2 power supplies, otherwise you just can't fit 2 in there.

Your 750 watt should crossfire 2 470's pretty easily.

just re-did a PSU calculator with my current hard ware, your right - I was worrying for nothing...

Well I saw a pic of someone with two 470's in SLI running at 900Mhz core, total system power draw @ 950w.

Will do more research and brb biggrin.gif

My mid-tower case holds 2 power supplies: FSP 400W main + FSP Booster X3 300W.
See my avatar. My booster X3 is mounted below my dvd drive and above my blue 120mm fan.
FSP Booster blows warm air into the case, but other than that, it's a fine gpu power supply.

Duuuude, that can't be right... A while back they did some benchies on the finnish forum I visit regularly and I think that 2700k and 3x6970's pulled like 850W under very heavy load.
