Help! P5N32SLI SE Dlx or Asus P5WDH Dlx WE - Page 2

Do you already have a 7900GT? If so, its a moot point unless you intend to sell the card. I agree that the ATI specs are very confusing but also bear in mind if you add in Nvidias lineup:

GeForce 7950 GX2
GeForce 7900 GTX
GeForce 7950 GT
GeForce 7900 GT
GeForce 7900 GS
GeForce 7600 GT
GeForce 7600 GS
GeForce 7300 GT
GeForce 7300 GS

ATI Graphics Card Specifications (I added a chart that will show you the specs)

Thanks - the spec card helps. I'm going to return the video card along with the motherboard (the one I have now is SLI but the new one is Crossfire). The place where I got my system will only charge me the price difference of the parts for changing configurations during the 1st month

It's a small company close to where I live (Seattle) called Puget Custom Computers (www.pugetsystems.com) - they're not the cheapest but they're not as outrageously expensive as some, either. I like the fact that they have lifetime labor warranty (meaning they'll install and changes/upgrades for free) and a standard 1 year parts warranty (plus whatever warranty the manufacturers have). Very friendly too.

Yay - just spoke to the guys at Puget Systems - they're going to change the motherboard (to the Asus P5WDH Dlx WE), install the ATI x1950 XTX (which sounds like a great card), and replace the hard drives so I get a RAID0 configuration (2xSeagage Barracude 7200). Only disappointment is that they don't have an Arctic Cooler for ATI cards so I hope the ATI card's stock cooler is OK (they'll upgrade the cooler later one becomes available). I'll only pay about $80 extra for this (the installation is free and I must say they took my quite extensive change of heart really well).
