What PSU do you recommend?

Thread Starter
Hello, I'm in the process of choosing a new PSU and could do with some assistance as I don't want to get a cheap/low power one, but don't want to be overkill.

My system,
Motherboard: Asus Sabertooth p67
CPU: i5 2500k
Video card: ATI Radeon HD 5770 (but might upgrade to a GTX 560 at a later date)
I have 2 Sata hard disk drives and one DVD drive.

I also have a few case fans that require a molex connector.

Any help is much appreciated.

Thanks, Tim

Maybe something like this:

1- http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139021
2- http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817207016

More than your currently need but for future upgrades are good.

That (if you think you will need 750W in the future). Or the 650W version. I own this myself and it has worked perfectly so far. Also very quiet.

Wow, there are a lot of suggestions, including those not available in the UK or are way overkill.

If you don't want to go too low or too high for that setup, about 400W sounds right. I agree with the Be Quiet E9 400W (£58.91), but if you want to save money, the XFX 450W Core Edition (£41.68) is a good choice.
