X800 problems...maybe? - Page 3

It could be a cpu problem or a monitor problem. It might be the motherboard... i really dont know what to say. If you have an older video card install that to see if the problem happens (even if the games arent as good quality) That should let you know if its the video card or something else.

hmm lol one problem..i only have 1 pcie card T____T i bought the video card and motherboard on the same day. i had to exchange the previous X800 coz it was really unstable. then i got a replacement x800 and it did well...then the problem continued it seems to be getting worse now.

Euh dude, maybe stupid but maybe its your monitor cable.

Like 3 years ago I had a war against my machine. Every 3D app would cause the screen to standby. Plugged in another monitor and the problems were gone. Then I replaced the monitor cable and it worked like a charm.

Try connecting a different monitor.

once agian..i only have one monitor T_T. I dont think it can be my monitor cable...i mean i can use normal apps like Photoshop or surf the net and it wont black out...its just when i play games. Everything just stops whe it blacks out, the sound even cuts off its like my computer went on standby X_X
