Microsoft Wireless Mouse 5000 Lag??

Thread Starter
Hey guys, just got rid of my Logitech MX performance mouse (hated it so i refunded it). And I went with this mouse now.

Nice and easy 50 dollars, but after about a weeks of use. It seems that the Cursor lags. It is a wireless mouse, but it seems that sometimes the cursor lags when just moving it around??

Could this be cause by interference? +Rep for anyone helpful

Cheers

You might have some interference ? but you try changing the batteries, as i used to have a wirless mouse & as soon as the batteries started to go flat it would lag, & that's why i insist on using a wired mouse now.

Perhaps you are right, the batteries, of course lol!

But they are Duracell and ive been using for a week. Come to think of it, alot actually.
So you are most likely right. Will change them now, thanks!

Unless the batteries have been exposed to heat for to long?, I dont think they would go flat after 1 week, even with excessive use,
Could be some sort of interference? especially if you have added some sort of new device to your desktop?

Hi,

if you have a wifi router working on 2,4ghz ( which is the same as your wireless mouse ), you have to play with wifi channel and find the best one, that's not interferencing...

It depends on how much you downloading too...

I have this keyboard mouse set too and it solved my laggy problem on win 7 64bit.

Best
