Right now i'm having the funniest conversation with my friend i'm trying to convince him to get cans not buds. and he's into computers to which is the funny part. He says he looks like a goof walking down the street. And my other non techi friend says that cans don't make me feel comfy when i wear them.
What has the world come to?
I have the Hd500's as i've said, but I use a plantronic's headset, cost like $30 @ radioshack, and the headphones i've never used on them, but always the mic.
Here's how I use the 2 in tandum.
1. Plug sennheisers in, place on head.
2. Plug "mic" of plantronic's in, "rest" plantronics on neck (back of it, loop down as if resting headphones).
3. Bring front mic grip to front, now the mic rests 2-3 inches farther from face then normally. Thus making it "clearer" when you talk, then muffled up close. (btw the mic on my set, picks up audio from anywhere in the room...O_O).
4. Enjoy high def audio + decent mic all together
And dunno about the difference between your 595's and the choice headset, however "if" you have the room to do what I did, then great, however of course if the net weight is a tad "big/heavy" then of course, choose your own style. It's just a way to enjoy the best of both worlds.
Also, if your "pc chair" is on wheels, ALWAYS remember, even if your only moving around a bit, you will 99% of the time, accidentally roll over the wires. And on headsets, because it's sending the mic/headphone audio @ the same time, on the same wire, it's more sensitive to damage. Just a head's up, warrenty's come in handy there.
Oh and i've tested can's out when I was younger, and believe me, they're decent for sound, unique, but decent, lol. It's the oddest things, can's, string, it just works oddly, lmao. Science is an art, can's, string, what can be better?

Can anyone tell me how the Sennhesier pc150 sound? I just brought a new sound card and I wanted to know if I should be in a hurry buy new speakers/headset.
Speakers are logitech X-530.
I don't really listen to very loud music so I thought those would be enough.
Should I be rushing out to get new sound equipment? Or is what I already have fine?
Um.... One question, What sound card? Your sys spec's still say onboard, so I can't give you a true opinion asap. If it's turtlesound then no, no replacement required, If it's audigy line, No replacement required yet. X-fi series, I'd consider borrowing a friends better set of speakers or headphones and "seeing" if there's a noticible difference for yourself before getting anything new (unless you have money to throw around, go all out! hehe).
