Sennheiser - Page 28

hmm... I have not heard the steelsound headphones. I have not heard anything good about them on any audiophile forums so I assumed they weren't that great. I wanted to get a pair when buy.com had the deal a couple weeks ago but didn't have the cashflow. I'd be interested in hearing them if someone wants to spare them for about a week or two.

My first thought is to let the Senns break in. You should hear a big difference after a couple hundred hours

i got them for $35 with MIR. from amazon. Although the deal ran out but i still have the rebate form so if i scan it in for you maybe you can get it that way. But it said that it had to be bought before the new year. I have to say they are pretty nice. I have a huge head and they fit really nicely and they are very comfortable.

I ordered some new V-Moda Vibe IEMs, should be here sometime in the next week, and my next purchase will most likely be a LDM+ headphone amp and line-out cable for my iPod from Soloz, but I've still gotta figure everything out.
yeah, it takes a little while to figure out exactly what you like. the LDM+ was my first amp and i'm about to let it go now and move on to bigger and better (and more $) but it's a great starter.

btw, the portable amps that I will be reviewing shortly (companion article I'll be doing on gaming headphones)
LDM+
C&C Box
Xtra X1
Mr. X XP

and the headphones in the lineup (gaming cans)
Icemat Siberias
Senn HD595
Beyer DT770 Pro/80
Beyer DT770 Pro/250

now, I just need to get my hands on some steelsounds and a pair of ATH-A500's and the review will be complete

I picked up a creative zen 30gb, for $110 off after clearence price and manager's discount @ radio shack And it's awesome.

I'm looking at eventually getting into using a keyboard, (not pc, musical, piano like), for live recording's of whatever I want, with my x-fi, etc.

Lol we still love this thread it's our home.

o soloz the steel sound headphones are god awful. I have them cause i bought they with my Senn 595's back when i was original going to use them for gaming and the 595's for guitar and my Zen v m. But they are way to strong and my zen is a bit underpowered i think maybe i might be wrong. But he steel sound when i put them on make my ears bleed. I don't meen that literally but i tried them again about a week ago with BF2 and it hurt my ears so much. Either there is way to much treble or something i just can't put my finger on it but it feels like someone is in the back of my skull with a chizle.

O this is to Namrac and Soloz.

Namrac: i went to the apple store and they have the v-mods there the red and the sort of silvery green ones there for $100.

And also i have to say when i was at the apple store i saw this poor consumer looking at the headphone section of the apple store and i offered to help her out with purchasing a pair of buds. She accepted. She said she listned to rock and she HATES the ipod buds because they fall out of her ears little did she know on the quality of music she's missing out on. I was supprised the apple store has an Amazing selection of buds

Ultimate ears Super fi 5
Ultimate ears super fi 5 eb

V-mod two colors

Shure E3c
Shure E2c

Bose-headpones
bose-buds

Sony-buds

She was looking at the Sonys because she was Japanese LOL!

When i asked her she said either the bose or the sonys i told her that both suck and to look at either the V-mods "wow the v-mods are so TINY i feel that i can crush them" or the ultimate ears which she told me where out of her budget because they are over $100. Or the Shure E2c.

Well before i went to the apple store i went to Brookstone it's the same as sharper image. In the back right of the store they had a couple of buds on display and luckly i had my Zen on me and i popped the buds into my ears the Shure E3c. HOLY SHIZAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA HEAVEN ON EARTH!!!!!!!!!!!1

i thought i was going to faint i tried my friends ultimate ears Super fi 3 and they lacked in so much base it wasn't even funny these were AMAZING it was perfectly balenced and the fit was great.

Anyway back to the apple store. I told her that i have had the shure E2c's before and i wasn't lieng and that they are great buds and would make ur experience with music so much better than the ipod buds u have now. So she was a very understanding consumer and listned to me good and she ended up buying them.

Did i mention everytime i go to either Best buy or stores like this every time i see a consumer in destress i go up to them and try to help them out. So far i sold

2 desktops
1 mp3player
and now a pair of buds

I'm planning to go work at best buy next year when i turn 16.

I'm a good sumariten HA AH.

Also i got a new network card and replaced my crap tastic Barracuda HDD with an awsome 250gb 16mb cach HDD.

WOW nice essay eh!

Plz check out my system pics it's under the Rep+ button tell me what u think it's my room. with pc opinion?
