I would go with the 7600GS, it has 12 pixelpipelines and higher core clock. Even though the memory says 533 its probably 1066 compared to the 6800XT

7600GS more pipes but i dont like GDDR2 and the 128bit memory interface.
I would say the 7600GS If you can try really hard to get the 7600GT

That particular 6800XT should be a little bit faster.....I believe its memory clocks are 400mhz faster than the standard 6800XT (AGP), and a stock 6800XT is already a tad faster than a stock 6600GT. I believe that it should perform quite similarly to a 7600GS.

But, I'd go with that XFX 6800XT because the 256bit memory bus should allow for smoother FPS at higher resolutions and GDDR3 is nice...(plus the 6800XT is cheaper)

That 6800XT has a very high unlocking ability, I was going to buy one awhile back and researched that card. 98% have unlocked the NV40 core to 16v6. The mem is at 1000mhz, normal 6800XT is 700mhz so unlock it to 16v6 and you have a 6800GT that can oc probably to 6800Ultra.
