Are these temps good for a i7-950 oc to 4ghz?

Thread Starter
Just did my stress test for 4 hours and finally did not get a crash.
Only problem is i'm kind of worry about my temps.

idle: 40°-45°
full load: 70°c-75°c

I'm rocking a corsair H70 and using about 7 fans inside of my HAF. I was expecting something around the 60°c mark at full load.

What you guys think?

your temps are good for 4ghz.
i get ~80 max on any core on my lapped h50 @ 4ghz
so 70-75 is good. if u lapped your waterblock ud get 2-3c decrease.
i did anyways biggrin.gif

Now im getting temps idling at 37°c-41°
full load at 75-84°c

what gives, am i doing something wrong. my room temperature is around 60°f i open up the windows to let the cold in while im doing stress test.

I have 10 fans in my HAF

Cpu: H70 push-pull intake from top
2X 120 next to my H70 intaking on top
140mm fan intaking from the front bay
250mm fan front bottom intake
3X120mm fan on the side door intaking
2X120mm push-pull exhaust in the rear
temps.docx 125k .docx file

i attached my print screen of my temperatures so you guys can tell me what you think these are at idling.

is that the lowest stable vcore you got when stress testing?
your temps are kinda hot for your ambients.
is there ample pressure on the waterblock?

I think your CPU PLL voltage is pretty high, can you drop it down to 1.82?
