The side window is amazing fyi rolleyes.gif If you plan on going water cooling both are really good cases (hanging the radiator of the back of Lian Li worked really well).
Good luck on the choice thumb.gif

can a h100 fit inside the case?

Not really. I just needed a more compact case. I had a 360mm radiator hanging off the back like this:
399
this setup was a bit cumbersome for transportation (I'm a student and I take my desktop with me). The whole detach radiator, hope nothing leaks, etc.

Not without slight modification. You would have to cut the top panel (it's aluminum so that wouldn't hard at all). Any of the 120mm (i.e. h50, h70, etc) fit fine. The fan mounts on the top and the front are 140mm, not 120mm.

my vote goes to the lian li. i have the A05B and i couldnt be happier. lian li cases have excellent build quality(feels very sturdy), and the aluminum look is amazing. just be careful since aluminum is a softer metal than most, it can scratch pretty easily. as i have found out tongue.gif all in all, i highly doubt you'll be disappointed

I never have an aluminum case. Is it really that soft that you could scratch it easily? Then why people saying it has a strong built than steel?

sorry i wasn't clear. an aluminum case is very strong and sturdy, by no means will an aluminum case be weaker than any normal steel case. the reason i scratched it was because im dumb and just did something stupid. little bits of sand will scratch a steel case just the same as it scratched my case (long story)
any average person wont have a problem thumb.gif

having the aluminum being softer than steel i feel is actually an advantage. It makes modding that much easier, with my case, its recommended to install a top blow hole to let out the hot air from the gpu, cutting the thing was actually super easy and i had zero problems. but im not sure if you'll need to mod if/when you go under water.

by no means did i want to instill doubt in your mind about aluminum cases, they are fantastic, sturdy but lightweight. i find the simplistic design very appealing and I am completely happy with my case. i hope you the best with whichever case you end up getting.

Wow thanks for the info. smile.gif

I won't watercool, just air-cooling. It appears I would have an aluminum case this Friday.

I ask a number of my office mates, they voted 5-3 in favor of 690 II Advanced. Well, they are not techie enough to know difference between aluminum and steel case. smile.gif

3 days to go before I make a reservation. (Thursday, Manila time)

Votes please. smile.gif
