In the end the decision is yours. I'm surprised the CM 690 II is leading the vote now. Must be more popular than i realized.

I Agree the PC-7FNWX looks better but it just doesn't have the features, and appears to look allot more flimsy compared to my CM 690 II.

690 II is the girl next door type. =P

PC-7FNWX:

100% tool-less
Superior air filters
Superior psu dock
Silent case (taken from my K63 experience)
Fan grills
Superior case feet
Good cable management (better than the Enforcer and 912)
Better pci slot covers.
Much easier to clean.

You guys are forgetting the features of this case. It's not just only pricy. smile.gif

Thanks for the input, but the PC-7FNWX is feature rich as well, it's just that the 690 II has more.

Why do you say the case look flimsy?

Which one did you decide on?

Hi guys, took me a week to response. So after hearing all of your comments and suggestions, the people who voted for Lian-Li case were more convincing. So I bought the Lian-Li PC-7FNWX. I did not regret it. I was impressed the first time I open it. (This is the firs time I saw an aluminum case in person biggrin.gif) The case is so light compared to K63 and enforcer. You guys are so right about its built quality, very impressive.

I got the revised version with a USB 3.0 20 pin connector, plugin in directly to motherboard.

700

So I stripped down the case... but there's one part that ruin the day.

The last single screw was broken when I try to remove it. My mistake was I forced the issue, so it's now physically damage. I think it can still be remove by a screw extractor using a driller. I'll have it remove from a shop where I plan to mod the case.

Also one of the pin of the USB 3.0 to 2.0 adapter is broken, the store replaced the adapter but won't accept the whole case since I physically damage it.

Well, overall, I am still happy with the case. Plan to post on the Lian Li showcase thread once I completed my upgrade.

Thanks all smile.gif

If you care about noise:

The CM doesn't look as good and has more plastic, but its steel frame is likely to be more immune to vibrations and provide better noise dampening vs. the all aluminum construction of the Lian-Li.

Lian-Li's craftsmanship is next to none, but I believe that their panels are bit a little too thin.

Where do you live? I am in Manila, stocks might be different from my place than yours.
