So you think.
He made a real good point about them hiding amongst the ranks.
These guys are not going to go 60-2 every round. If they have a brain at all, they will take there fair share of deaths to cloak there bots.
The same aimbots can be configured to not snap around but acquire targets while being deceptive.
As long as there is a game people will cheat.
That does not mean there any good at the game.
Best thing you can do I think is report obvious hacks.
I did just this a couple days ago.
This jerk went 22-0, while getting called out by multiples in chat for aimbot.
After the round I check his stats, 900 ppm, 3.5kdr, bunch of other joke stats.
Here is another. Answer me this...
This guy played 161 hours, is it even possible for your top weapon to be the knife!?!
http://battlelog.battlefield.com/bf3/soldier/lKeVtel/stats/174504102/
Both of these guys got reported.
They send you a email saying they are investigating, not that this is a sure fire way to catch them.
But it can't hurt, and does not take long.
http://www.nlbclan.co.uk/forum/m/153525/viewthread/1632918-how-to-report-bf3-cheaters-dice/page/1

I agree, going 22-0 is not at all impossible. I can show you MULTIPLE screen shots of me getting that or even better KDR. My best so far is 37-1. Do I get that every round? Most definitely not. That's just being a big ol camper and pickin people off. tongue.gif

However, I do have to agree that getting 2100 knife kills in 161 hours is ridiculous. Not saying that it's impossible, but highly unprobable.

As of late I have been getting accused of hacking/cheating, I have had a good luck streak and found my new favorite weapon (QBB-95, 12x scope, Bi-Pod). I kill the crap out of camping snipers. I keep the snipers suppressed with passing bullets that cause them to become inaccurate and slowly get them.

I have been joining my friends and they ALWAYS manage to join a server with 200+ pin. . . When I’m in a server like that it seems like everyone is cheating because they have the lag advantage. On servers with a reasonable ping I manage to do pretty well.

I have seen 2 hackers so far, Went against them and pretty much died instantly. Yes they are out there, you will never get rid of them. I doubt you have been running into as many hackers as you claim too, a daily basis? Find a low ping server and see how you do, about 60ms or so should do it.

I really don't see anything wrong with the guy who played 161 hours and has 2k kills with the knife, it really is not that hard. If you start knifing people you eventually know where you gotta be to sneak up on people and how to knife lots of people. 161 hours is also a very long time to be running around knifing people.

Also his accuracy is 14%, I would think with aimbot that would be a bit higher. You shouldn't go around reporting people just because your a noob and don't understand that some people can get really good at the game.

First off i would like to say i have been gaming for a long time, secondly its all been fps shooter games for the most part and i will back the op up on alot of what he said! There are alot of hacks out for BF3 and alot of people using them if u dont belive me or the op Google is your freind! The people that say there are no hackers remind me of the ostrich that sticks his head in the sand lol! If u guys spend enuff time gaming and play long enuff you can tell for the most part who is running something.
Now u say wait we have punkbuster and other programs to defeat the evil HAXOR! Yes we do but they do not recognize the hacks instantly a hackor may get by with hacking for weeks before getting banned, once again if u dont beleive me google is your freind (evenbalance.com) . So this is where admins come into play a good admin will take care of suspicious people if they are doin some crazy shat they get kicked simple as that. And this is the way it should be!
But then of course there is the usual 12 year old saying why did i get kicked (insert 12 yr old whining here) but the thing we have to remember people is if they want to kick u for any reason they can! Yes they pay for the server so that is the way it is! Now before u say anything i will let u know i have been kicked off many servers not for cheating but because thats the way it is,no problem there are other servers!
So to summarize yes there is alot of hackers out there so we have to admin properly or go to another server till it gets fixed!

Well im sure there are people just that good but yesterday in a game I died once and the cam showed the guy that killed me and a team mate dropped a grenade right on him, exploded and let a black hole under him without killing him. Thought it was a glitch but same match similar scenario but with a rocket launcher hit the wall and blew up the door behind him as if it went through him like the game didn't recognize he was there. Not sure if it was the same guy and a chester or the game to blame. Cheaters suck but I don't see moments like that often

I've not noticed any cheaters in BF3 so far, and honestly if they aren't getting absurd amounts of kills and no deaths then I don't really care that much.

I'm not directing this post at anyone in particular, so keep that in mind.

I never encountered aimbot cheaters in BF2 (or at least nothing blatantly obvious), but I haven't played BF3. I tend to be quite good at games I play at least semi-regularly, and have been accused of cheating myself. I, however, do not cheat - not everyone who is good is cheating. I remember I was kicked from the OCN BF2 server a couple years ago for cheating when all I did was outsmart the admin and he was bitter about it. (Just because you are hiding on a roof doesn't mean I can't kill you with a tank on the ground. Splash damage from the tank shell exploding on the building's vent stack is your my friend!) There simply may be things going on that you didn't consider.

I have not experienced BF3 yet so I cannot comment on the prevalence of cheaters and what not. I'm simply commenting on the fact that not all good players are cheaters, and there may just be players out there smarter than you.

Lol I died when a wall fell on me. Survived the blast but when part of the wall fell on me I died to the tank. Its what I love about this game.

OP makes a good point in the opening message though, maybe we don't always notice. Im going to google bf3 cheats just to see what's really out there. That way I can tell better if someone is. In the end if someone is gonna cheat I just don't let it get to me. Im not great at bf3 so I need the practice regardless lol

I have seen most likely a dozen or so cheaters possibly more if I didn't notice them and I'm not one to call "hacks!". But I've been playing the Battlefield series long enough with TWL and BFCL championships under my belt to understand suspicious activity. As soon as I die, I run the entire scenario in my mind and normally it was my fault for impatience or poor map position for being killed. But if I get killed by a guy repeatedly from an random act of God then I get suspicious. I don't blatantly call it out, unless they are one of the blatant few hackers I have seen. Instead I can get a pretty good idea on whether or not they hack by their activity in-game and their Battlelog stats. Does this guy have a ridiculous SPM without any activity in-game to capture objectives? Also, one very noticeable one is accuracy ribbons. When you see 39 hours played with 900 SPM, 400 accuracy ribbons and the guy is already level 49... I mean come on, even though the guy only went 30/12 the last game it is pretty obvious that this guy does some form of cheating.

I do agree cheaters ruin the game and that there are many more people cheating than most of us think but there isn't much anyone can do about it but suck it up. I would like to see devs working on ways to make the game unplayable if you are cheating but they seem to prefer the prevention method which is fail.
One thing they could do is make flying debris targetable, that way aim bot will be going bonkers most of the time while normal players would be uneffected.

You have a solid point. thumb.gif
