True. Im lucky enough to have a great team that can think for themselves. 99% of the emails I get are.."This has happened and this is what Ive done..". Its rare I have to anything before the start of the next business day. thumb.gif

And yes, I tell my team they are great and reward them frequently smile.gif

Ah, we often have to deal with "the markets dropped x amount 20 minutes ago, we need a campaign to go in 10 minutes... how do I do this"... or "I just sent this campaign and it's gone to my wrong market segment" tongue.gif

I had to take a work trip to Europe recently, and it was a shock that the typical work day was 9-3:30, with a rather generous amount of time taken at lunch vs. the regular work hours.
I thin the US work culture is entirely unhealthy, and I think it needs a change.

While in Spain a couple summers ago, the concept of Siesta totally blew my mind. Take a 2 hour break from classes, go nap and eat, and then go back to classes for another 2 or 3 hours, and be done with your day. It had to be one of the most well-done things I've ever done. Not to mention you actually didn't mind going back to class/work after it all.

My stepfather was on TDY in Spain for 4 months when he was in the Air Force. He said the siesta's were the greatest thing about Spain. I would kill for a siesta at about 1 or 2pm.

A siesta is great until you have to work alongside a Spanish office tongue.gif
