[CnetUK] Ferrari-powered quad bike

When building a fast vehicle, achieving a favourable power to weight ratio is key. If you can put a fairly powerful engine inside a fairly light chassis, you're guaranteed fairly terrifying performance -- and that's exactly what French tuner Lazareth has attempted with the Wazuma VF8.

Only 384 bhp/tonne? With a Ferrari lump and a chassis like that I must admit I expected a fair amount more than that.

384 is huge on any chassis that does not weight several tons.

By comparison it might as well be a 1500 BHP Car.

It's all about power to weight ratio..... That thing will kill you before you can blink.

I guess it would be great on a flat track, suspension looks like it would suck though.

And for £166,600 I'd rather just buy a Ferrari.....
384hp?! that is crazy for something that small...it would break your back trying to accelerate.
where do your legs go?....
Yep. Power to weight. I own a BMW S1000RR. The acceleration will make you see God.biggrin.gif
