No Signal - message after mounting new cooling

Hello overclockers.
Today I finally bought Twin Turbo II, an aftermarket cooler for my reference HD5850.
After playing around with it for over 2 hours I hooked up my PC to my TV just to check if everything's fine.
The computer booted up fine, beeped once just as normal, but still there was nothing on the screen. I can hear that it is booting to windows with no problems, but my only issue is only the lack of signal from the video card.

Things I've already tried:
-reseating RAM
-reseating video card
-checking all the cables twice
-booting up with no HDD and/or DVD-ROM connected
-reseting CMOS

I don't know if this matters but the card was overclocked before changing the cooler, and both HDD and DVD-ROM are connected to other SATA ports on the motherboard.

Sadly I have no other PC to test the video card.

PC spec:
Intel Core2Quad Q9300 @ 3,3Ghz
Gigabyte X48-DS4
HD5850 725/1000 @ 900/1150
4GB Kingston DDR2 800Mhz
500GB HDD
Chieftec 450W

edit: same issue occurs on my 24" samsung monitor, and on both HDMI and DVI ports.

Is it hooked to your TV through HDMI? Made sure you check the input setting? I'd personally hook it up to a monitor first to make sure the GPU works.

Yeah, already tried that. Plus the TV is running throught HDMI only so it's not what's causing it.

Fans on the video card are spinning, so it is getting power.

o boy..i had a problem like this..toasted 4870 was the result..i mucked around with it for like..16 hrs..try some nylon washers(thin) under where the metal/pcb contact is (the screw holes on the cooler)if necessary..match up some longer screws and use nylon washers on both sides..if the mounting system will still get good contact on the gpu

Fixed the problem.

Turns out the cooling wasn't perfectly touching the GPU. After mounting it again everything works fine.
