USB problem on motherboard

Okay, I have a Gigabyte P35 motherboard on one of my builds.

When I connect a USB drive to one of the 8 USB 2.0 on the back, it works fine.

When I connect a USB wireless mice/keyboard dongle, there are issues.

It seems that when more than 1GB of RAM is used (4GB RAM total), the mouse starts to stutter.

Even if I'm just using Chrome, it will basically lag like I'm using it on a carpet.

When I switch to the front panel USB, it works like a charm.

Now, I bought this motherboard from eBay and it came without an I/O shield plate, just wanted to mention that.

Anyone have any idea?

I'm thinking of ordering a USB PCI card, because there is no way I'm going to run my mouse/keyboard from the front panel.

Thanks, guys.

Strange!

You could try updating the MB chipset drivers to the latest and if the USB is a separate controller try updating the USB drivers to the latest.

Updated the chipset, the audio drivers, the LAN drivers, basically everything on Gigabyte's site (they didn't have USB drivers).

Nothing has changed.
