[SP] AMD Radeon HD 7950 Specs Reportedly Unveiled - Page 2

Based on the previous 6970 to 6950 pricing difference of about $100, shouldn't the 7950 come in at around $450???

The 7870 will probably be a rebranded 6970.

It's essentially a 6970 on 28nm so it should OC like crazy if the 7970 is any indication.

hmmm, I guess I will be getting a 7950 or a Used GTX 580 :/
post #17 of 35
I was thinking that this will Probably go for 400 dollars to 450. Seeing as the 7970 is 550$, and the 7870 for$350.
I'm pretty sure that this will go for 425 dollars. I'm basing that on pure speculation.
but it would make the most logical sense. As that is the price in between those 2 other cards.
Someone on this post said they thought that this card would go for 200 dollars.
there is no way AMD would sell these cards at that price. The 6950 Are still going for 300 dollars.
Riddle me this batman "why in the world would they sell this card which is way better than the 6950 for 100 dollars less?"
I wish they would sell ferraris for 300 dollars but they never will! Lol

I'm thinking it'll come in at around $375-$425, in which case I'll more than likely pick up the 7970. If it cones in at $350 or below, I'll xfire rwo 7950's & call it a day for the next 3 years!

Die shrinked 6970, not really rebranded. Should clock a lot higher.
