I've owned Swiftech, BP, EK, and now AC and it's far and away the best I've ever used. Definitely worth the 3-4 week lead time in my opinion. Performance may vary, but the quality will definitely be top notch.
Keep the updates coming, and congrats on the baby to be!

Thanks for that info my friend, that's good to know. The only GPU blocks I've used before are XSPC, so I have little experience with a variety of companies. Looks like I'll start looking into the AquaComputer blocks. They definitely look like quality components based on the pictures.

Thanks for the congrats as well, we are both excited. I am hoping to get this build done before he comes into the world or else I'll never have time to finish! redface.gif

Stren- Unfortunately there are two issues with the mount and the MO.RA3 140.9:

1. The hole spacing doesn't line up. Jim said it should be 20mm, which is what he had, but for some reason my mount looks to be 15mm hole spacing.

400

400

400

2. The ports at the end of the radiator have caps on them that prodrude out a few cm so it's not level. These push against the mount so it's not flush.

400

I could probably modify the mount to work, but I'm worried if I cut out too much it won't support the weight of the radiator and fans.

Thanks! I'm only fortunate to have extra income via online reselling, I'm not rich by any means lol.

1/17/2012 Update

I had a little time last night to work on the Gaming Rig, here some pictures..

The build quality on the ASRock Extreme9 is great, it feels just as solid and heavy as the Rampage IV Extreme I am using on the Media Rig:

IMG_0050copy.png

I went from a 2500K to another 3960X....Definitely not part of the plan, but for Tri-Fire 7970's I think it will be a good choice. The local vendor here also had it on sale for $950, not the sticker price:

IMG_0051copy.png

These ADATA 2000mhz DIMMs look and feel great. They are on the approved vendor list for the Extreme 9 which is the reasoning for purchasing them. They are much heavier compared to my Corsair Vengeance memory, which feel quite cheap in comparison:

IMG_0052copy.png

Finally, I unboxed one of the 7970's:

IMG_0053copy.png

Tri-fire on the Extreme 9 mainboard:

IMG_0054copy.png

The main components all mounted into the TX10. I'm not sure on the silver sleeved cable for the GPU's...I think I may switch to black:

IMG_0055copy.png

I'll be using an H80 to cool the 3960X on the Gaming Rig for now. Once I acquire blocks for the GPU's I will look into doing two full loops. More to come!

Oh no sorry, I just meant no Phase/LN2 type overclocks haha. I will definitely overclock this 3960X as well, but probably keep it around 4.6Ghz for stability and adequate temps.

That's the truth. If anything, my wife hates how much time I spend working on it. She most definitely comes first, so I don't touch the build until I've spent time with her lol. I take it that I'm fortunate enough that she doesn't absolutely freak out that this huge beastly case is sitting in the living room. smile.gif
