In my experience FC3 is very CPU intensive... although there are cases with issues of GPU underloading mentioned earlier in this thread - if you've had similar results on multiple runs you don't have any issues with that. FC3 is a new-release game designed to be more impressive than playable (not saying it's not playable... simply that it is designed to showcase all of the available technologies as well).

If you had a 3930K @ 4.5 and SLI'd 680's - only then I would expect to see a consisten 60FPS throughout the entire game at ultra settings... but as it is (as nice as your hardware actually is) your rig is not likely as capable as what they (the designers) were considering when they configured the 'ultra' settings levels - at least not across the board.

FWIW - I didn't have every setting on 'ultra' levels (most but not all) and I have crossfired 7970's OC'd about 15% on both core and mem as well as having my cpu (same as yours) at 4.7GHz with much more RAM. And I still saw dips down into the 40's at a few places - although I also think it was more CPU bound than anything else... also I play at 2560X1600 so that definitely hurts me plenty. smile.gif

That's why I ask you guys, It's normal or not, but the fact that I got those frames...I don't know about the next mission, because I'm a new on this game, and the games looks beautiful...

I also played it on one of my workstations at work (i7 920 @ 3GHz with a single 6950 at 1920X1200) on mixed high/ultra settings and managed to finish the game with only a couple of retrys on some missions - and my FPS were almost never over 60 consistently - so I think you'll be just fine with what you have... you can always change the graphic levels at any time so if a particular mission is just too 'laggy' seeming to play well - just lower your settings before reloading. Although the game is very beautiful at maximum levels... it's still very good at 'high' levels... better than many games at their max settings. biggrin.gif

Yeah, I agree with you, I can't imagine IF the games is set to max settings, maybe surpass Crysis 1 without mod? lol, and I'm playing at 1920 x 1080. biggrin.gif

So I just have to say: If I have to sit through one more lame cut scene....

Uhg. Maybe I'm just getting to cynical in my day, but c'mon. At least let me hit the space bar and forward through them.

Other than that... I'm really hooked on the game.
