Looking for new mobo for 2700K

Thread Starter
I am going to be in the market for a new skt 1155 mobo, I am going from a EP45-UD3P Q6600. I am buying a 2700K (through the intel retail edge program) YEs i plan to OC it i am using a COrsair H80 right now and will swap that over to the new board/cpu. My question i have is, is there any news on any upcoming new mobo's or chipsets for 1155. Z68 GEN 3 is the newest that i am seeing and I hear that the Asrock is a great performing board for OCing but im not too much a fan of asrock. I personnaly want dual 16x PIC-e 16x when in SLi and as many SATA6G ports as possible, Extended ATX is not a problem. any thoughts or news i should be looking into. I wont be buying the MOBO for about 2 monthst since the 2700K is on back order from Intel ($104 will do that lol)

If you want 16x2 on 1155 you have to have the NF200 controller. I would get the http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131714&Tpk=asus%20p67%20ws%20revolution

Is there a specific price range?
I got my ASRock Extreme 7 Gen 3 a couple of week ago and have been very happy with it.
I was initially sceptical of ASRock too, but now that I’ve got this board my opinion has been changed.
It has the NF200 chip for dual 16x, as well as PCI-E 3 support and 6 SATA6Gbs ports.
In the end it’s up to you, but it seems to be a perfect fit to what you want.

Have a look at it anyway wink.gif
