Just got my new corsair 16gb kit and guess what

Installed my new corsair CMZ16GX3M4A1600C9B and first thing ran memtest 4.20 to make sure it was all good. On test 5 it started getting errors just past the 12gb range so it must be stick 4. Is it better to RMA through corsair or newegg? Could reseating the ram fix the issue?

Try re-seating and or swapping DIMM slots. Usually new RAM is not defective as it's tested and immediately packaged. You may also need to go into the BIOS and manually set the latencies, voltage and frequency to be sure all is proper.

Just tested all the ram individually and found 1out stick to be defective. Now is it better to send it to newegg or corsair?

If you're still in the 30 day free return period probably Newegg is faster.
