Help with old rig for fold......

Thread Starter
Well, I've very just recently just started folding and thought to try and fire up old rig to join in. No Boot,No Fans,No Drives,No ANYTHING except for one lil green light on MB Rig has sat around for about 2 weeks unplugged and nothing has changed since the last time it ran. I've tried to jump the switch lead myself, nothing, tried to reset cmos and jumpers, nothing, tried everything but agp card and MB plugged in, NOTHING!!!!:***:

System is as follows:

Asus a7v400mx - about 1 1/2 years old
Amd Athlon XP+2000 - bundle above...replaced after first OC experiment:turd:
512 mb and 128mb generic ram
ATI Radeon 128mb 9600SE AGP 8x
Maxtor 80g HDD
Sony Cd-RW drive
One 3.5 floppy

I'm have no clue other than would a dead cmos cause this?? Thanks for the help

try checking the 4 pin connectors for voltage with a voltmeter. you should have +12v dc on the yellow wire, ground is the black next to it. The red should have +5v with the black wire next to it as ground.

Yeah absolutely nothing but one green light on moboWell that would be wonderful and sounds like the best place to start. Cheaper than replacing mobo.

Thanks,

Have to start shopping now since multi is on my work van and thankfully not working this weekend for once but I will definitely try that
