Even if I change both my Global and BF3 Profile to match the settings I want to try it doesn't work as good as the game's options. Weird.

Forced AA via NVCP doesn't work more often that it does, tbh.

In this case it doesn't work because it's deferred shader-based AA (same reason as in Metro, the Stalker games, and many others), but there's different reasons for it not working in other games.

Basically if you have AA options in-game, 99% of the time you just wanna use those (unless you're doing mods like SMAA).

Isn't there a official thread for FXAA injector based on BF3 only? Sick of running around trying to find the right information! I have FXAA and using someone else's edited file to let you use MSAAX4 to have sharper image in the game. It does LOOk nice however i just don't like the blue crap. Is there any way to get rid of it? Man i am gonna have to do some heavy reading when i just wanna play bf3!rolleyes.gif

I use FXAA(deferred) at low or medium with no MSAA @ 1920x1080(native) v sync enabled 75 FOV everything ULTRA Motion Blur Off and normally no AO but if I am going to take the hit it would be HBAO. I would love to run with v sync off but I get tearing and a rare fps dive so it seems more stable to keep it on. Seems I need to use it for almost all games I play: Skyrim(on by default tied to physics) and DX HR (get really bad tearing without it). I was wondering if Morphological checkbox is CCC would do anything.

Just tried SMAA in campaign. I still prefer FXAA - low against it, my argument being it has just enough to remove most of the jaggies and shimmering without blurring things too much. SMAA doesn't touch the textures so it's not my cup of tea.

I don't care about frame rate so long as it's above 30FPS I like to run all ultra settings and max Anti-Aliasing also Anti-Aliasing Post I think it looks better and plays great with my GTX 570
