need advice upgrade my Radeon HD3650 to GTX 550 Ti

im thinking of upgrade my graphic from Radeon HD3650 to GTX 550 Ti. should i upgrade it with my current motherboard and processor?
or it will just wasting money? will it make a burden to my current motherboard and processor?

an HD6670 or HD6770 will be a great upgrade for your system and can surely play games at high settings on your 1280x1024 resolution.
the HD6770 can probably max out any game at that resolution

They are both cheaper than GTX550.
the GTX550 is a bit faster but it wont be able to use full utilization unless you have triple or quadcore cpu.

Like edalbkrad said, a 6670 or 6770 will suit you fine. Also, on the Nvidia side of things, I think a GTS 450 would suit you fine as well.

Another thing to keep in mind, jokeravenged, is that your a bit limited by your 450watt power supply. So don't forget about power consumption when picking out the new card. You'll probably be fine though seeing that your other components don't look too power hungry.

if you have 1 6-pin pcie power..and some molexes..you could skate by..and..i think you should consider power,too
