A little question about Lamptron fan controllers.

Thread Starter
I saw a lot of hardware reviews about Lamptron's fan controllers and most of them are positive and rated high.

I'm new to Lamptron products and I want to try their products.

Which one is to get?

FC2?
FC4?
FC5?

These are only the available Lamptron fan controllers here in my country.

Thanks a lot.

Lamptron are very well made fan controllers. I have a FC6 and I love it. Any of those would be a good choice. Just get the one you need the most based on your needs.

Pretty much this ahah, depending on how you want to control your fans and how many.

I bought a FC8 and its amazing to use! So simple and blends into my case.

What does 45W per channel mean? Which one is better? 30W? 45W?

By the way, thanks for replying. Much appreciated.

It means you can have 45watts of power being drain from each channel on the fan controller, so you could have 4 channels but each channel could have a splitter that could power like 3 or 4 fans per channel meaning you could power 12-14 fans.

you have to find the wattage of each fan though to calculate, but with a lamptron you generally have high headroom for wattage on each channel

Is it normal, that my FC6 keeps the RPM raising when the PC boots up?
So it was off for a couple of days, and the fans were all set to 1000 rpm. Once i turned the PC on, all of them were just 900rpm. Half an hour after start, the fans are at 1000rpm now..
I dont know if this is normal, i did not notice it before (my PC is usually running 24/7).
