Being a new owner of an 840 Pro, shall I wait a bit before installing the update? Reason I ask is because I had a Crucial M4 and there seemed to always be issues with firmware updates, so I took the "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" approach.

I've done 2 firmware updates so far on my 512GB 840 without any problems at all. I did the last update about an hour ago and my laptop is running fine.

Please add me in the club. I got 840 pro 128 GB
post #2380 of 5733
Just put two of these in RAID 0 for my OS win 7 x64, ran this with nothing else running. Both connected to the Intel 6gb ports on my rampage IV extreme running IRST 12.0 to keep TRIM. I thought my write would double? i'm not seeing the rated write though currently..does this look good?
