Okey I am so confused now. Not only do I not know what driver to choose, but I'm not quite sure how to install the iRST driver either. On the intel download center page it says that if using a system setup in AHCI mode, which mine is because I was told that this is preferable over IDE mode, I should make a bootable drive with the iRST driver on and install it during OS installation? What's up with that, how in the name of sweet baby Jesus do I properly install the iRST driver?

I just download this file:

File name: SetupRST.exe Version: 12.6.0.1033
https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&DwnldID=22787&lang=eng&wapkw=12.6.0.1033

I haven't happened to understand the purpose of the 64bit and 32bit zip files yet. I unzip them and extract them, then I'm lost?? wha-smiley.png

I finally figured out that Download page. Some of the files are for Intel motherboards, that is what was confusing me.
Now I have downloaded the newest Firmware for the SSD and the 11.7 RST driver and my performance now is this:

I am very pleased smile.gif

I am glad that it is working for you. The link that I gave you is for the 12.6 driver which is the newest one right now.

I think they are drivers only, no software, just for use with device manager's update driver, but am not sure.

Edit: They are F6 Driver Diskettes, like I know what that means biggrin.gif
