Really, no discernible difference? I'm surprised, but believe you of course.
The AS SSD result was not weird IMO, but the ATTO... that is weird. Or maybe not.
I wonder if the ATTO result is revealing how Rapid works to a degree. At small transfer sizes the read speeds are low relative to the write speeds. Then right at 128K we see a transition to low write speeds and the read speed increases by a factor of five. At 256K things look more normal.
Or at 256K, we're coincidentally seeing the actual write from the RAM buffer to NAND, but who knows?
It will be interesting to see more benchmarks with Evo's and Rapid, and 840 Pros and Rapid when that is available.
