Hi guys. I was hoping to be able to join thus club today with proof a samsung 850 evo 250gb and a 1tb drives, but a certain event has not allowed me to be able to acquire the 1 tb drive. I purchased the 1 tb 850 evo ,from my local bestbuy store, for $350 (price matched with amazon). Within a 20 minute time span of driving home and integrating the drive into my desktop, i was left with a very horrifying surprise: a 110 gb samsung 750 evo ssd. I was so shocked that the 1tb 850 evo ,that i had just purchased, was reported by the os (crystal disk info and device manager) to be a 120gb 750 evo that i checked the reported serial number of the ssd with the sticker. to my surprise, the serial numbers were completely different, and the sticker had looked like it was haphazardly placed on the drive. My attempt to return it to the same best buy store ,almost within the same hour, had left me with a result of being refused for an exchange, and being forced to attempt to return the drive to manufacturer because it looked like i had tampered with the drive. what am i suppose to do? will Samsung treat me the same way as the best buy employees did? do i have to pay for shipping? please help...
P.S sorry for the long anecdote, but this is the first time i have ever been in such a predicament.
